-This is popular and trusted online job site. Like the typical one, Odesk allows you to post or find a job. One of  Odesk requirements is you need to take and pass Odesk readiness exam. Examination was made in order for you to understand how the site works. This is very important so that you will be familiarized the system regarding payments, bids, do's and don'ts, and other necessary matters in their website.

-I just remembered my friend asking me about freelancer. She said.
 " ‎Rex Pis-an wui help me sa freelancer bi., d q balo saon ni?? ahehehe., mag post q ug project or mo bid q? lol :D online nya., chat tah., hehe., ty ;) "


Before I will answer her question, I will just chit-chat a little bit about freelancer's characteristics. For me, this is the easiest. Why? Because freelancer doesn't have examination. HEHEHE I hate exams, I don't want to remember my terror years of  schooling hehehe. Back to the topic, freelancer provides more category than the others and they  have user friendly working environment (website features). The only disadvantage of freelancer is the more provider in a site the higher competition it would be. The result would be less chanced for you to get hired.


About her question, as a provider(job seeker), you need to bid for a project. Posting a project is only for the client/person who will hire you.

Critical - since there are thousands of online job scams spreading on the internet and if you are not vigilant enough of choosing the right one, for sure you will be wasting not only your time but possibly your money as well.
